Get Hands On
Arrival & Introduction
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled experience time so we can get you checked in and ready to begin. Your visit will start with a short safety briefing, followed by a warm introduction to our friendly donkeys and sheep.
Hands-On Animal Experience
You’ll then have the chance to get hands-on—grooming the donkeys and getting to know their gentle personalities. Each guest will be paired with a donkey or sheep for a relaxed walk through our beautiful gardens, and everyone will have the opportunity to walk both a donkey and a Valais Blacknose lamb. We’ll make plenty of stops along the way so you can take photos and enjoy the surroundings.
Meet the Pigs & Important Information
After your walk, you’ll head down to meet our much-loved Pennywell pigs. You can try to get them to sit for a treat and, of course, enjoy plenty of cuddles and belly rubs—something they absolutely adore! This brings the experience to a lovely close.
Please note that while the walk is gentle and taken at a slow pace, it does include some sloping ground and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. If needed, we’re happy to arrange an alternative visit where you can meet and spend time with the donkeys and sheep without taking part in the walk.
